Position:Home>Performing Arts> What was your first Broadway musical?

Question:The first musical that I saw on Broadway was "Wicked." However, since I had already seen the tour, the first Broadway show that I saw that I hadn't seen before was "The Light in the Piazza". I saw that 3 days after "Wicked." The very next night, I saw "Dirty Rotten Scoundrels." So technically, I consider all 3 my first Broadway shows. I'm a geek like that.

Les Mis

The Lion King. I was in, like, 4th grade.

well, i saw it at my tiny towns theater and according to many many ppl who came from all over the nation(surprisingly cuz not many ppl normally come to a tiny town in ND like mine) it was better than the broadway cast and that was Big River. my dad played Jim (which was kinda funny cuz he's the whitest man ever; make up, hair dye, and perms do wonder)
and my best friends dad played huckleberry's dad(it was his last play before he died)
that was when i was 10 or so. it was the first one i saw

I saw WIcked and absolutly loved it! I've always loved musical theatre but hadn't been to NY until this summer. I had the best time!
