I suppose it depends on what type of circus you see. I saw Ringling Bros and Barnum and Bailey Circus a year ago and their wasn't any magic involved. It was people and animals performing and doing tricks. Any person or animal with the right training and practice can do what they were doing. I think it's appealing because it's a lot of fun.

Because it is entertaining.
