play any of the white stripes' songs.. they're very simple.. in fact the reason why i took up drums, is because meg white makes playing drums sounds so simple. 3 weeks after i started, i felt like a pro.lol.

Start with "Marching to Mobile" and then move to "A Cloudy day". Once you have mastered those try something like "I like it but it ain′t New Orleans"
None of these could be classified as rock but they are an excellent wait to become proficient!
