If you can sing very VERY well and cannot even hit the a little high note, you can still be famous. Not all the singers of the world are sopranos. Don't put yourself down because of it! Keep your chin up and you never know, with a little bit of lessons, you might be able to hit a few other Higher notes in the future =)
Good luck!!

Its not about the range, its about what you can do with it.
Think of Rex Harrison. The guy can sing about two notes, but the way he presents himself in My Fair Lady... etc.. made him famous.
I have a pretty ridiculous range. Really, I have some high notes that I have never seen written in music before. But I would give up my top octave to be able to sing stronger on the notes that I will actually get paid to sing. While I have high notes, I might not be as successful as someone that doesn't have them. (Of course I'm hoping I'm still successful.)

If you're really that worried about it, keep working on your upper range with your voice teacher. Loads of gentle practice, and you'll discover top notes you didn't know you voice could hit.

Yeah your song can be famous, you write songs and sing them according to your own singing ability, anything you write can be famous!
Tons of people have written songs that are out of their range, and the songs never turn out well, sing like you, don't try to be anyone else and just relax and go with the flow!
You'll get it!

Take up guitar or piano (what I did) and learn to harmonize your voice with the pitch of the instrument and you will rock!

Yeah! I don't see why not!! :]

Your song can be famous even if you sing like a strangled chicken!! Ever heard of a guy named Bob Dylan??
