Position:Home>Performing Arts> Is the 1988 Ovation 1988-P considered a full straight-out electric or acoustic gQuestion:I'm doing a performance at school next week, and the moderator told me that my guitar has to be full acoustic (NO ELECTRIC or anything w/ cables or anything that can be plugged into an amp). I have a 1988 Ovation 1988-P Collector's Edition steel-stringed guitar, and I was wondering if that is a full electric or semi-acoustic/electric w/ built-in pickup? I don't know if my school moderator would allow my guitar to be played on stage. =/ Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'm doing a performance at school next week, and the moderator told me that my guitar has to be full acoustic (NO ELECTRIC or anything w/ cables or anything that can be plugged into an amp). Since it's a shallow bowl - it doesn't sound that great unplugged anyway. Borrow somebody's real acoustic. Is there a hole on it to plug a cable into it and volume knobs?? If not, you are simply acoustic. |
