Position:Home>Performing Arts> Should I quit playing drums?

Question:I've been playing over 20 years with no progress made. I have fun at it, but it seems most bands now can't find a way to get along.

I actually enjoy playing guitar more.

Should I just quit playing drums?

Yes, I am tired of the noise.
no
lol if youve been playing 20yrs you'll never quit! go ahead play guitar but you'll be sitting behind a set again in no time
hell no, drums r awes! play both! yay! specially if ya like to play =)
playing drums (or any musical instrument) should just be for fun. play your guitar, but remember that you have the talent to sit down at the drums too. you can always be a solo artist on guitar if the band thing doesn't work out.
no. The point of playing is to have fun. Why not play both? broaden your horizens. learn any instrument you want, but still Stick with the drums.. you can't be bad at it after 20 years.
You shouldn't stop playing drums altogether if you enjoy playing them at all. Simply play the guitar as well.
DO what you enjoy.
When you stop enjoying something it's time to quite...I play and teach classical and acoustic guitar....that's my love...so why not concentrate on the guitar....if you kept up both your libel to have wrist or hand trouble....as you already know I'm sure, there both very hard on the hands, fingers, and wrists....stick with guitar....and then put something on youtube so that we can hear you play !!!!!!!!!!
