What would be a good drum kit to start with?

Question:i want to get into drumming but i was wondering what is a good drum set for genres like metal, horror punk, or hard rock and another problem i have is money. is there anyplace,other than ebay and amazon, where i can get a decent, dirt cheap set including the cymbals.
i dont really think the set matters for the style i just want to make sure first before i buy one

I would check your paper or online. There may be someone in your neighborhood or close by who is selling their drums. Also, check the liner notes of some of the bands you like. Alot of times they will list the type of drums they use. Good Luck!!!
