7 string guitar? or Acoustic?

Question:Im getting a new guitar this month, and i cant decide between a 7 string or a new acoustic. ive been playing for 7 years and i have 3 electrics and my dads alvarez is pretty much mine. my favorite kinda music is metal and i play it for hours a day, but i also wanna start to play some acoustic shows. i would be the only person with a 7 string at my school, meaning i wouldnt be able to jam with someone else. but i love the bottom b string. which would go better with me?

The 7 string guitar is cooler, and I believe the 7th is the low B, not a higher string. And you can still play with all your friends, you'll just be able to play stuff they can, like lower power chords. But in all honesty, you'll still play the same stuff that you play now- I think 7 strings just come in electric. If you get an acoustic, it will open a whole new world for you, and probably a bigger world than the 7 string could. There are amazing things you can do with acoustics than electrics will never be able to do.

first of fall there no 7 string guitar as yet and second thing is that the bottom string is e.

Get the one without....until this becomes more popular....where's it going to fit in....and I'm sure that sheet music doesn't include this yet....if you play a note on that string...everyone else is going to be confused.....I love guitars the way that they are....I don't like change....remember this is just my opinion !!!!!!!

7 string guitars are usually for the lead guitarist in a metal band, to go higher in their solo's. i would get an acoustic definitely.
