Guitar help?

Question:Is playing the guitar easy?? and what kind of guitar should i get (im 13)? im still not completely sure if i want to play.

I always tell my beginning students to start with an acoustic....a Yamaha would be good....they are about $200.00 at the Guitar Center...even less when on sale...and if you ask for a deal the clerk will reduce the price. No guitar is not easy....maybe if you just learn a few chords....and just strum. Why not check out some of the free sites to give you an idea about playing....I'm not crazy about the free sites...there not really complete, I'll give you some others that I do think are good, some of these have free charts, or maybe tuners and about six starter lesson, but mostly they want you to take lessons on line, or buy their Cd's, Videos, DVDs, or books, but it's cheaper then having a teacher....which to me is the best way to learn....but I know that a lot of kids cannot afford lesson, so check out these sites and see what you think !!!!

It is pretty easy to play a guitar, but be sure you want to before you buy a 300 dollar guitar. Go to Wal-Mart and buy one of their 20 dollar acoustic guitars and a book on how to play it. I would recomend the Hal Leonard Guitar Method it is easy and tat is how I learned.

No, it isn't easy but compared to a lot of instruments it's EASIER. Try an inexpensive nylon-string guitar first so it's easy on your fingers. Good luck!
