Question:

What categories should I include on a score card for a high school talent competition?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Depending on the age of the participants, I think they shoud be judged on the following:-
Confidence (Both with the audience and themselves)
Competance in their chosen Talent.
Originality (so you don't get twenty kids all singing 'I believe I could fly', one after the other.)
Effort put into appearance (such as costume, props, scenary, etc)
And finally a score for the crowd's appreciation of the participant. It always happens that you may not like a talent, but the people in the audience love it. So they should get extra points for picking a skill that has wide-public appeal.
