Hey! Singers Advice Needed!?

Ok well in like sometime in Decmeber, I will be recording a cd, with my choir teacher, for my family as a christmas present, Im still working on a couple of things to get the songs like nearly perfect. Like im working on crecendos, and being able to open my mouth wider. What goes into making a cd. I really have no idea. All I know that it is a lot of work. I have no idea. Please give me a brief idea, and maybe some tips that could even help me, when ill be recording! Thanks

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I am a singer and some tips would be to PRACTICE...PRACTICE...PRACTICE... You may want to try singing songs you already know and keep your voice trained. Do some voice exercises. It will get your voice ready to sing high or sing low. You could also consult your choir teacher to help you into maintaining your voice. And the night before you record your cd try not to sing and give your voice a rest so that way you will be ready to make a cd. By the way that's a really good idea!
