Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Befor you "get up on the Pipes" you need to be proficient on a practice Chanter.The Chanter is the piece attached to the pipes where the piper's fingers actually play the required notes.Practice chanters vary in price.You can buy some inexpensive ones on ebay BUT i would find a tutor first in your local area and see what he/she recommends.Hope this helps. |
