Question:

How to sing better in chorus?

I am in a chorus, and I am a bass. Many people have commented on how airy and unsupported my sound is. I do have a lower voice, but tend to use it rarely in the higher songs that the chorus is singing this year. How do I get my sound better from the current state it is in?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Since we can't all hear you sing...the best answer I can give is to use your ears. Focus on blending with the group. I think a lot of what makes great musicians great is that they know how to listen to each other and taylor what they do to what others are doing.

You might want to try recording your own voice to see if you can figure out for yourself what other people are commenting on.

Focus on tone and tequnique in your practice. And never hesitate to ask another singer or teacher for help!
