Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: It is easy to get started because a bass usually only plays one note at a time (on one string at a time). A guitar will often require you to play different notes on all six strings at the same time, it's not as hard as it sounds but definitely harder than playing one string at a time. However, becoming an advanced bass player will require you to learn advanced techniques and theory that can make it as hard as a guitar. In other words, it is easy to be a beginning bassist but hard to become and advanced bassist. |
