Question:

Is there any way to practise and improve singing without a coach?

i do not know which is my diaphragm voice...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Yes... Try the latest DVD/VCD/MP3/MP4 players.... you can play their thousands of karaoke musics....

You sing everyday... Use microphone so that you can hear your own voice if you are improving... You can also record it once in a while, so that you can monitor the improvement in your voice...
Just practice and practice....

Diaphragm voice?

"It is true that the diaphragm plays the most important part in all singing tones, for the strongest and highest, as well as the softest, only a nominal contraction of the abdominal muscles should take place, assisted by a slight sinking of the lower part of the back."

You have to make an effort in your abdomen for you to have more air... You need that in singing. Sometimes, you will feel a slight pain in your abdomen when your voice is coming from your diaphragm... Try to feel that when you are singing... You can feel the slight movement there...

If you are using a "head tone", your head is the one who feels pain... And you can feel more movement in your chest than your abdomen...

Good luck! Make you succeed in your singing...
