Xylophone music?

I am going to learn a xylophone solo for a festival I'm going to. The thing is, I've never played percussion. Have any tips? Or good solo ideas? I was going to do "Childrens Songs" by Chick Corea but that is for piano. Well, any suggestions?

The Marimba is usually associated more with solos (Steve Weiss has Childrens Song arranged for marimba) but there are some good xylophone solos out there.
