Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Vinyl. It depends on the budget, of course. I ideally there is a sprung floor made out of wood and hard rubber squares as the foundation. Then it is covered with a vinyl black cover for texture and it's color. Most companies tour with their own flooring -- at one time there was a major brand called Marley, but there are many companies that make that same covering; Harlequin, StageStep etc. I wrote a web page on it almost ten years ago, you can read all about floorings at the link below. |
