Where should i send my promo pack??

I'm a studio artist and i compose my own music. Where should i send my cd for recognition?

Record companys but address to someone BY NAME. If you can get to know or meet anyone from the company that has a say then do, so you can put something personal at the top.

Celebrities, such as Jonathon Ross\Jules Holland etc. If they like their music they will pass it on to someone that can do something with it.

BBC\TV studios. - Talior make your cd to suit their needs. So label the tracks with "(possible drama music)" "(possible incidental music)" etc etc

Everywhere. Always tailor the cd to the person you are sending it to, and try and make something about it that stands out. They will all get thousands of demos a day - so a professional looking cd cover etc goes a long long way.
