Can you learn the flute with a lip piercing?

Actually two piercings, it's under the lower lip so it's kind of hard to put the mouthpiece there.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Under the lower lip would make it near impossible to play flute. My friend has two lower lip piercings and she has enough trouble playing the oboe which has a really slim mouthpiece. It wouldn't work with flute. If you can remove them, go for it, and get some lessons! You can always put them back in after you've finished playing. :)
