Question:

Is there a helpful trick for moving my singing sound from my throat, into my diaphragm? My voice is strained!?

I know it's bad that I do this and I've been taking vocal lessons for about a year but I still can't move my sound back into my diapragm, it comes out from my throat and that strains my voice and I get a terrible soreness. Is there any trick to doing this? I'd really appreciate some help!!!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: 1) Stand up
2) Take a deep breath
3) Try to push the air up through your vocal chords from your belly.

It will take a lot of practice, and at first you cannot control the loudness.
