Question:

A question for music composers.?

I'm new to ties (and slurs, etc.) so trying to compose this peice which has a lot of ties in it is proving to be difficult.

Here is one measure

Is this right? I want to hold that first E throughout the entire measure, but come in with the G after half a note and hold that for the entire measure, but come in with the B half a note after the G, and hold that triad until the end of that measure.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I would recommend downloading a program like finale or Sibelius that will make it a thousand times easier to write out music. They are free to download and pretty easy to use.
