Who else likes the tchaikovsky trio?

I love the Tchaikovsky Trio in a minor. I don't like the 2nd movement though. I love the depth of it. If I were a pianist or cellist, I would play this all the time. OMG mit is so beautiful. At first, before I got this recording, I just liked the last movement.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I'm a violinist and I played this trio. It is beautiful, although a bit repetitious. It has some great recordings, the best of which are with Gilels, Rostropovich, and Kogan and with the Suk Trio.

Greater Trios are the Ravel Trio, the Dvorak Dumky Trio, and the greatest of all--the Shostakovich Trio opus 67--particularly in the recording by the Borodin Trio.
