Question:

Drama or Basic Life Skills?

I am in 9th grade and it's almost second semster. For my electives I chose band, 3D art, and drama. Band is all year and I had art this semester. On my schedule it says I have drama next semester but some of my friends had it this semester and say that the teacher is really mean and you have to do lots of presentations in front of the class so now I am thinking about switching to basic life skills which was my next choice for an elective. I really want to be in drama because I love acting but I don't want to have a mean teacher and make presentations. I really want to take basic life skills because you get to learn how to budget and take care of a baby. Plus my teacher would be the same person I had last year for sewing class and I know she is nice. If I switch out of drama, I need to do it sometime this week so I really need help deciding what to do. It's really hard because I want to do both but both have their negatives and positives. Please help me! Quitting band is not an option!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Dont listen to what everyone says about your drama teacher. They may be mean but they may not. And drama is mostly presentations in front of the class. If you love acting, do drama, you can always drop/add. I know in my school, our drama teacher can be a jerk but a lot of people like him. I've never had his class because i just havent had the room in my schedule. You still have 3 years in high school, you can take life skills next year. Sometimes you have to step outside of your comfert zone, who knows, drama might end up being your favorite class but, its your choice. But trust me, i know what i'm talking about.
