Question:

Audition Song?

I'm going to audition for a sort of fifties/sixties/seventies revue that our school is putting on. I have one song, from the King and I, that I could sing, but they said that they would prefer a song from the era for the audition. I'm a soprano, but I have a pretty broad range. Any suggestions for something I could audition with? It needs to be pretty upbeat and not too long-only about a minute in length(if it's a longer song, I could just go with a couple verses). Thank you so much!

Something by the Shirelles could be good too.
