I am auditioning for a school of the pre. arts and i need 2 classical songs with lyrics can you think of any?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Caro Mio Bien is a good one...you can find it in many different keys. It is a commonly used song for beginners so it is a good one to use!

Whatever you do, go with Italian...it's by far one of the easiest as far as foreign language goes! I would NOT attempt german, no matter what you do! (Unless, of course, you speak german fluently...and even then it can drive you crazy since being put to music changes some of it anyway...it's NOT an easy language to sing in!)

There's a book out called "24 Italian songs and arias"...it usually comes with a cd as well so you can learn it easier. I'd say that bok would be best cause you can get it different vocal ranges! Also I'd get with a voice teacher or at least a music student from your area college's music department. You'll probably need some help with the pronounciations! :-)
