Are ukulele and guitar chords the same?

like if a guitar music sheet says to play the C chord would I play C on the ukulele? Or like it is on guitar? How would this be determined?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: No. Ukeleles are tuned differently. You'll have to find a chart that gives you the tuning for a ukelele and then figure out where the notes C G and E are and find the most comfortable position to play them.
