Question:

What does To Coda, D.S. al Coda, and all that other coda stuff mean?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Actually it's "D.C. al Coda" In Italian, Da Capo, means "the head" or beginning of the piece. Then when you reach the target symbol you go to the Coda sign. The Coda is the final section. So DC al Coda means, "back to the beginning, then cut from this sign to the Coda"

Sometimes you'll see DC al Fine. That means instead of going to a Coda, you'll just end it at the DC sign.
