How to make dance performance/carnaval costumes and head pieces?

These are for my dance company...

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: As a costumer, I suggest that you look into renting. There are many companies that will rent you costumes without costing an arm and a leg. I agree, unless you're really experienced, dancewear can be a pain to make. Also, carnival headpieces (as I imagine them) could require some excellent bracing and balancing.
