Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: "Breath Control" is like "discipline", a misleading term that is really a combination of things. It is a combination of strong support, measured expiration, relaxation which you must combine with fully resonating space and placement/projection of the tone through the front of your mouth. My voice feels and sounds best when I have a sensation of a warm fog around me as I sing, and I keep that sense of warmth in every note, which prevents me from pushing, straining, squeezing. It is an ultimatley natural act and sensation. Listening to a fine singer will naturally cause your body to imitate theirs and improve your vocal production. You must choose carefully.
