Colorguard captian tryout tips...?

I've decided to try out for my colorguard(spinning flags, rifles, sabres, ect.) captian tryouts. I'm going to try out for flag captian and I've already picked out my music so does anyone have any tips on how to make an awesome show or any awesome moves I can include in it?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: idk what your school does, but im on our colorguard squad and we put in hip hop dance moves to spice up our routines a little. a couple tips...1) when you are at flat, make sure that your flag is completely flat/parallel to the ground. 2) keep your military bearing....you should stick your chin up towards the ceiling high enough that you can make an L with your fingers from the center of your collar bone to your chin. 3) Don't be shy! be a leader. a shy leader won't make a great leader. 4) make sure you know what your doing...if not, make it up....they will never know :)....lastly i would suggest throwing the flag up in the air for a little flare. good luck!
