Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I just read that erlier today, 600 comes to mind? the article was about a chemist that finally cracked the reason they sound so good. It was a treatment of the wood with a anti-wood eating worm chenicle and the super hard varnish that gives them thier one of a kind sound. this was from 12/28 in the paper.He even did a concert with allot of people and they picked the violin he had made over the strat as sounding slightly better. try to look it up. might save you a million or so.
