Question:

Is the londons west end the equivalent to broadway? is it the theatrical epicentre of the uk?

what things are synonymous with the west end?

does it epitomise anything anymore?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: London's west end is basically the tourist area of london. You can't really compare it to broadway as broadway is just a street.
The west end contains theatres, restaurants, shopping and pretty well all the sites that tourists come to see.

If you do want to make a comparison to New York...then the west end is to manhattan, while the east end is to queens.
