Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: broadway makes me think of the theater, watching people perform and sing their hearts out. no, to me it does not mean the same as 50 years ago because 50 years ago people probably got very dressed up to go to the theater and only very upper-class people probably got to go. today, people don't treat it as such a novelty.
