Ibanez semi hollowbody guitars?

Ibanez semi hollowbody guitars?

Well for my christmas present I am going to be alloweed to pick out a new guitar tommorrow. I play alot of jazz hence the name and so I am looking for a semi hollowbody guitar, (not ready or big enought to make the switch to hollowbody :) I am interested in an Ibanez semi hollowbody can anyone tell me if this would be a wise choice? If it would be wise then what specific model should I get? If it is unwise then can you recomend another brand. Seeing as this is only my second guitar I haven't had time for trial and error. I f you know of another good brand could you recomend a good model? Thanks in advance.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If money is not a problem (Gibson) , but epiphone is just a cheaper line of Gibson and not that much different. AS for models I don't know their models that well, 335 is always good.
