Question:

What do you think of Maurice Ravel's works?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Hi Lilliana!

As a violinist, I have played a number of Ravel's works. His styles are rather eclectic and unpredictable. The most fascinating of his works might be his Trio, Rapsodie Espagnol, Le Tombeau de Couperin, and his Piano Concerto. He combines concepts of Impressionism with jazz motifs, emotionalism, and musical pointallism, and in some cases, Neoclassicism.

I have also studied most of the performances of his works. If you want to have some conversation about Ravel, please contact me!

His work is extraordinary, and suggests new brilliance and insights, as it becomes more familiar.
