The Trivium dealt with Language and consisted of:

Grammar
Rhetoric
Logic

The Quadrivium dealt with Mathemetics and consisted of:

Arithmetic -- Number in itself
Geometry -- Number in space
Music, Harmonics, or Tuning Theory -- Number in time
Astronomy or Cosmology -- Number in space and time
