SINGiNG QUESTION?????????

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: You do have two different voices. My students do this all the time. The big problem is going from low to high, because they are so impressed with the sound they can make in their lower registers, they sing it with a heavy, soulful sound, but then they get to the high register can sound like little children. The key is to sing much lighter in your lower register, imagine those notes are real low, almost too low, and sing them light, and you get higher, say "this is where I should be" and let your voice open up with power.

A good exercise to help with this is sing a scale from high to low and back to high. You may notice that your first high note was good but became very weak when you sing it the second time, it was because you put too much on the lower notes, sing it again but let your voice get lighter as you go down the scale. Good luck
