Jazz poetry? does anyone know where i can get some good jazz poetry?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Depends on what kind of jazz poetry you're interested in. Are you looking for older stuff from the beat era? Maybe the Harlem Renaissance work of Langston Hughes? Maybe the wacky ramblings of Lord Buckley?

Or perhaps the late 60s/early 70s work of such radical artists as LeRoi Jones, Gil Scott-Heron or the Last Poets?

Whatever you're looking for there are several CDs and CD compilations of jazz poetry (although these artists works are not always classified as such). Although some of the most obscure artists are available only on vinyl, so get a turntable if you don't already have one.

Your best bet would be to start with your local library!
