somewhere between Handel, Mozart, and Rossini, I missed Gluck. And I have read he was THE guy in his day, operas and all. If you enjoy him, tell me why, what I missed, and what I should listen to.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Listen to his opera "Orfeo ed Euridice". It's his version of the Orpheus myth (obviously); I sang the mezzo aria near the end ("Che faro senza Euridice") and LOVED it.
