Question:

How do you play the D# harmonic near the beginning of Portrait of Tracy by Jaco Pastorius?

The tab book (The Essential Jaco Pastorius by Hal Leonard) calls for the following:

***D# harmonic is produced by fretting a B on the 2nd fret of the H string with the index finger, then playing the harmonic on the 6th fret of the A string with the pinky finger (while still holding the B).

So far this seems impossible to do, as the stretching required to meet the second to sixth fret stretch seems out of reach.
