Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I have been playing the cello for over 20 years, and been teaching the cello since 1999. I have found the deep romantic sound a cello could make, probably one of my favorite sounds. I believe the cello is one of the more difficult instruments to play. To become an accomplished player, you will need to master playing in the bass, tenor and treble clef. My 3 favorite pieces to play are Bach Suite #1 and #3, and Saint Saens "Swan". I feel we are a dying breed and it is always great to hear someone wanting to study this great instrument.
