Looking for good snare drum exercises for Samba players?

A friend is having trouble mastering the snare drum/ caixa for our Samba drum band.

Does anyone know of any good snare exercises or practices that she can do at home to help her get to grips with it, or websites that suggest some?

Tried the site but no real helpful exercises. Still looking for good exercises to help my friend get her snare playing up to scratch.
