In Speech what is Orignal Works?

I think it's where you write your own story, but I don't know if it has to be memorized or if you just read it. I need to know asap because I signed up for it and the contest is next week.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: In Minnesota, Original stuff is usally written so you can use your script but it greatly hinders your ability to use your hands. Its best to memorize because then you can act it out more. The very good ones I've watched don't use script because they are very comfortable with their work. But yes, you can use a script, Good luck.
