What are good pieces to work on for classical guitar?

I'm taking classical guitar this semester and was wondering what songs might be good to work on to improve my fingerpicking. I will say my skills w/ the guitar are intermediate at best.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Air on the G string is a good one. It is from a baroque piece by Bach, written originally for solo violin. I have heard it on guitar and it was great.
