Question: How did the purpose of the meeting of the Estates-General in 1789 change IN the French Revolution!?

Heh, i like the "defiantly know" part, but, King Louis XVI called the Estates General in accordance with his finance minister Necker to vote to raise taxes to fund the king!. However, the third estate consisting of the commoners was refused entrance into the meeting place and went to a nearby tennis court where they vowed to meet again and write a constitution, beginning (in effect) the French Revolution!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

They were called by the king to raise taxes, but instead they drafted a constitution and tried to force the king to accept it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
