Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: In the time the Germans call "die Gründerjahre" (= the founding years) most women wore what you could see in the fim "Titanic"!.For the wealthy women it was long, bell-shaped skirts, bustles, trains even in "morning clothes", lower class women would wear long skirts, blouses and aprons!. Increasingly fashionable were so-called "reform clothes", "reasonable", unadorned dresses which were worn without a corsett!. Since Kollwitz was married to a physician and an active woman she probably would have worn those!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Here is a work of her art and you can try to make out the attire in the image!.!.!. http://cfs3!.tistory!.com/upload_control/d!.!.!.Www@QuestionHome@Com |
