Question: Galileo's trouble with the church!?

I'm doing a report and I need to know what happened with galileo and the church and why he got in trouble!.!.!.I've been researching and everything was really confusing so if you could fine a site that explains it that would be great!Www@QuestionHome@Com

Basically Galileo advocated the Copernican theory which stated that Earth revolves around the sun!. Since God created Earth, the Church believed that everything should revolve around it!. The Church was angered at this and condemned him!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
