I've never met him, and really, never directly suffered from his influence!. On a personal level, my opinion is weak!.

I am sure there are millions of different opinions concerning him!.

In a way, I admire his tactics and skills!. I just think he was a tyrannous, unscrupulous ruler, who really wasn't in the right mindset to control his gifts and power effectively!.

His theologies are warped, and I do not agree with Nationalism!. A lot of his principles appeared to have come from the generations before him!. To be a leader, you have to look forward!.

He wasn't striving for the right thing!. Therefore, without the right foundations of thinking, I don't think he went for the ideal!.

I do not like what he did to the World, but there was a lot of conflict and dispute in those years, and other problems were bound to happen!.

But then again, you can't trust what I am saying!.

I am English, and not a follower of his beliefs!.

What I hear of him is usually from textbooks, lessons, tragic murder stories or dramatised television!.

I am not related to him, I was never close to him, I don't know him!.

I was born decades after his death!. What I know will undoubtedly be horrificly biased!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He was a good speaker, was very persuasive, good politician (Really, I'm not trying to compliment him but it was for these reasons that he got to the position he was in and was able to control Germany)
But, close-minded, out of control, had some poor military strategys(that caused him to begin losing the war)
Mein Kampf is an interesting book of his, reading about him and his own background can give you a better idea of the reasons why he thought the way he did, as crazy as they might be!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

That's like asking, would I like someone who ordered a cold-blooded murderer to come into my home, round up my family, make me hang them one by one and then finish me off by putting a bullet to my head and burying me in a shallow grave!. Hitler was an arsehole, but you've got to have respect for him in how he managed to convince all those people and get his own way and achieve his goals!.
But he has ruined the name Adolf forever, which I think could be a good name without all the bad connotationsWww@QuestionHome@Com
