Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Not true at all!. That is one of those made up stories on Yahoo Answers!. The Jews never did anything to him!. He was a horrible artist and applied to the Vienna Art School and did not pass the entrance exam at age 18!. They suggested he go to the architecture school, but that required a high school degree and he had flunked out of high school because he was very lazy and after flunking out at 16 he spent his time fantasizing about the German race and the inferiority of non-Germans!. It had nothing to do with Jews!. Jews did not run art schools in Austria!. They were not accepted into that role as Austria was and is anti-Semitic!. Hitler was already an anti-Semite in high school!. His mother did have a Jewish doctor and he left her when she was sick with breast cancer to go to Vienna!. The doctor gave him a big discount on the bill and Hitler said he would be forever grateful!. He felt the doctor did a lot for his mother and he did not hate the doctor although he hated Jews!.Www@QuestionHome@Com Hitler was born and raised in Austria, hence the dark brown hair and brown eyes!. Many of his antisemitic beliefs come from the time period and his own upbringing in Austria!. Ostensibly rejecting him for lack of academic skills, the Academy's admissions department also commented on Hitler's lack of understanding of human anatomy!. The treaty effectively destroyed the German and Austrian economies as punishement!. It put huge restrictions on German buisness and they were all poor!. On top of that, many Jews (often foreign Jews) bought controlling stakes in German and Austrian companies and became synonamus with the enemy!. They were viewed as robbing the countries of money and resources!. It wasn't that they were Jews, they just happened to be!.
