NOT A) because the South wouldn't have hardly any industry until after the Civil War!. B) is probably wrong!. C) is probably not right because there wasn't any need for professional (non-labor or agricultural) people!. D) Makes sense because canals provided irrigation for all of the crops (like cotton)!. E) is probably wrong because the North was the major center of factory production!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I don't want to sound stupid if i'm wrong, but I'm guessing the correct answer is e) textile factories!.
